The common way to see African wildlife is to search them out in a vehicle, then view them from the window or roof-hatch, the chances are you will see a great variety of wildlife this way. In most East African parks animals have adapted to the sounds of vehicles and are less likely to bolt for cover. Also, the average game-drive covers a wide area - perhaps as much as thirty or forty miles of country.

We do prefer to walk through the bush, but when we need to drive, only a perfectly designed 4 X 4 vehicle will serve our needs. A reliable vehicle is essential to drive through, what at times can be difficult terrain, and a good mechanic is usually more essential than a good doctor. We pride ourselves on the skill and creativity of our mechanics, one of whom is always with us on each of our trips so that your travels are seamless.
