We are now in East Africa’s
most remote wilderness area, in the world’s
biggest elephant park, and the home of the maneless
lions.
Our day begins at first light, and in the company
of armed bush men, our walking route follows hippo
trails through rich riverine vegetation, as we track
elephant and lion. We return to camp for lunch and
in the afternoon we game drive along the river.
During the past few years Tropical Ice has conducted
its own Galana River lion research project. Our experience
with lions has enabled us to unravel the mysteries
surrounding the maneless lion. Overnight Private Camp. |
